Easily and reliably record work hours

Record your work hours by project, easily and centrally with sem.PROJECT TIMER. Customized project items can be created for various tasks, customers or projects, which are available to all participating employees. Work hours can be booked in two different variants, via daily booking or weekly booking. Weekly booking enables a fast and easy booking of work hours in the case of multiple projects and tasks, in just one view.


Central access

Wherever your employees are located, they have everything at a glance. Thanks to the most modern cloud technology, sem.PROJECT TIMER can be used completely without installation of additional software. Access all data from anywhere in the world using a simple web browser and maintain a complete overview of occurrences even from a distance.

Access rights

Special access rights in sem.PROJECT TIMER can specify which users may book work hours to which project or not. Once a user is assigned to a project, it is possible to enact further restrictions for this user, such as maximum bookable hours or maximum hours per day.



The reporting function in sem.PROJECT TIMER enables simple to complex reports on projects, tasks and employee hours. Predefined filter criteria enable you to obtain a quick overview of all current or monthly bookings. The reporting results can be sorted and grouped according to project, task or employee as needed.

Project budgets

Budget planning is one of the most important factors in projects of all kinds and can be easily specified in sem.PROJECT TIMER via the project settings. In each project it can be defined how many hours may be booked in total or the daily maximum number of bookable hours and whether weekend work hours may be recorded. Budget compliance is guaranteed using these project-based restrictions.



The administration of sem.PROJECT TIMER is carried out via the administration console, which is only available to those with special user permissions. Here, projects, tasks or users can be easily created and managed. Using the reporting function, which is also found in this private area, authorized users can quickly create detailed reports on the booked working hours. The "Data" area enables all booking entries to be viewed in detail and to carry out modifications as needed, such as in the case of booking errors.
